    Reading PDFs with iBooks on an iPad

    With the latest version of iTunes and iBooks I can now read pdfs through the iBooks app on my iPad… this makes me quite happy as the other PDF reader I was using didn’t have bookmark support (and iBooks does). And it means one less app I have cluttering my screen real estate. I do like that Apple continues improving the usefulness of their myriad of portable devices. Yeah, I know its just to wring more money from us in the future, but still, I like seeing things improve.     Got iPad

    Well I did it. Even despite some reservations I bought myself an iPad. My main concerns with doing so stemmed mostly around the way Apple limits and controls apps. But I put my principles aside for the love of geek and bought it anyways. So with less than a day of using it I can really only say that it is pretty cool. I’m writing this entry on my deck enjoying a nice evening and I imagine more of my posts will be written this way, as long as they are link light.     Brent Buys a Hydrogen Toy Car

    Now that I’m self employed I’ve found that I have had to create my own ‘progression system’ to help keep myself motivated. So I pick out ‘toys’ and after reaching certain writing goals, I buy them. Now the point of this is to buy things I don’t really need, but will maybe amuse me or the kids for a bit.
