My Life Bad Dad February 10, 2012 / My 4yr old (formerly known as the 3yr old) really likes Boba Fett. And I have a Boba Fett that is still in its package which really pisses him off. So I *accidentally* placed Boba a little bit out of reach. This created about an hour of fun for me…
Brent get a cat and some yarn… lol
That is awesome ;-)
It’s important to teach them early that you have all the power and can make their lives a living hell. ;-)
Robert Browning, I think, said it first:
‘A man’s reach must exceed his grasp
Else what’s a heaven for?’
A little cruel. But so is life!
Ah, the focus of youth.
OK, so what happened after the hour? A chair? A broomstick? A bribe? A taller friend? Mummy? Dad’s conscience? Let us know please?
TGIF – let’s play with your son :)

Brent! Open that package!!
Interesting experiment, I also have a 4 yr old, you think I should try?
shame on you. Ha ha
Go for it!
The package remains sealed. I am a mean dad.
Exactly the lesson I am try to teach!
We have a cat but its too lazy to do anything.
Nice… Way to promote a desire to get big and strong to never let that happen again!
I should write a parenting book.
so mean ;)
he will get you back
The only thing that would be cuter than this is if you had a hidden camera and you recorded his attempts to scale the wall. And yes, he will definitely get you back when he’s older, taller and wiser. A great fun pic. Thank you so much.
Glad you enjoyed. And yes I know he will have his vengeance.
Bad dad! 1 hour? He’ll never forget the torture. :)
Funny, I’m in the Bad Dad category too! My son left his brand new bike behind my Expedition (no backup camera) and I conveniently ran over it.
So he tells me…..
“If I had the code to the garage door my bike wouldn’t have been behind your truck…..” We’ve all got that story….That was two months ago. We just got his bike fixed today… :-)I guess that makes me a bad dad….
LOL that’s so evil but I love it!!!
Ouch! I’m always worried about doing something like that.
hahahaha nice! I have a 3 (soon to be 4) year old myself. She and my 5 year old are huge Star Wars fans and I can see this happening with them for sure. You’re giving me ideas here…
Hehe. Have fun with them!
So I would totally do this =p I have a few Star Wars figures that my little ones keep asking for. Maybe I should try something like this!
