Testing…testing…testing
This post is just a test of my using the iPad for posting blog content over the summer. Plan to do a bit of traveling so I wanted to make sure this will work.
Any tips from some of the more experienced connected-travellers out there?
Also, just so this post has some content, have you read the recent article about Team Bondi and their ‘hostile and brutal’ dev environment? Video games may be fun to play but they can be brutal to build. Long hours lead to frustration which often as not leads to hostile altercations.

Hi Brent. Hey, can we talk? As a teacher I have used what I could of gaming over 30 years. The world of education is finallyinterested in playing catchup with what virtual gaming has to offer. Lots of potential, huge market possibilities. I’m doing lots of speaking at conferences, and with teacher-training programs. I hope our contact through EmpireAvenue was serendipidous. Let’s talk. gordondholden@gmail.com

This has nothing to do with your post, but I just wanted to stop by and let you know that I admire your work and think you’re immensely talented.
You leaving BioWare was definitely a great loss for the company, but hopefully that talent will never go to waste…
(*cough* please work for Bethesda *cough*)
PS. If you’re going to be doing some traveling with that fancy-pansy new iPad of yours, I suggest protecting it with an OtterBox (if you haven’t already gotten one.) It’s a life-saver for clumsy people like me!

Hi Gordon,
Nice to meet you. Things are a bit hectic here right now but I’ll try to send an e-mail your way later this weekend!

Emma,
Thanks for your kind words.
Unfortunately I think I’m out of the games industry permanently. Being able to write my own stories and work on my own schedule is too much fun :)
(That said if I were to go back Bethesda definitely would be a company I’d consider.)
Again, thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend.
