Everything you need to know about Brent (not really)

I’m heading off to the Pure Speculation conference for the weekend.

This is an orientation for those who are stumbling onto my website for the first time:
1. Me! Me! Me! I have a page for my current bio and another listing my published stories which has links to where my stories can be found
2. Game Design. For those interested in my seedy past as a video game designer with BioWare I have several online articles about game design
3. Empire Avenue. I also occasionally blog about Empire Avenue, a social networking site where you can buy and sell people.

If you are in the Edmonton area this weekend please consider heading over to the Radisson Hotel (beside the Delta Edmonton South). There’s some interesting looking panels, I’ve planned to attend several of them (and I’ll be doing a interpretative dance presentation about The Writers of the Future Contest, Sunday at 11:00am in the Alpha Room).

As well there will be tables where you can talk to a variety of writers/publishers/editors. I know for sure that Northern Frights Publishing and On Spec will be there. Full guest list and merchant information is available on the Pure Speculation site.
